Rubber mulch is a great alternative to wood mulch or gravel as it is softer, lasts longer, and is maintenance free. While it is made to have the same attractive look as wood chips or wood mulch, it doesn’t leave splinters or rot. This playground safety surface ground covering material is comprised of cleaned, processed tire shreds dyed a variety of colors for an extra pop.
Rubber mulch is made from 99.9999% clean recycled car tire material, and offers the highest impact absorbing ratings of all loose fill surfacing options.
Rubber playground mulch offers more color choice options than Engineered Wood Fiber. It is ADA compliant for wheelchair accessibility, and a 6-inch deep layer of rubber mulch will cushion a child's fall from as high as 16 feet.
